Here we go fam
So this week we decided to work in another city. Novo Porteirinha (new little port). The city has 14 streets, but it is a city because it takes care of the rural areas to the north, but the people are proud of their city. We have had some great sucess in the city, we've been teaching men, (future priesthood and families. We had a great week teaching Douglas, he is a cancer surviver who has only one leg, he was doing well until saturday when he gave to BoM back, it looks like someone had been filling his head with the usual lies, but we weren't discouraged because we found another family that day. One thing i have learned is that when someone good falls it means someone better is waiting. We found a family of 6. The mom just gave birth 2 weeks ago, the dad is super receptive, they have 4 kids. This couple had lost one of their children to a sickness when she was a baby, but now that they are learning the gospel they are feeling at peace. We will work with this family and we hope and pray that it will turn out right. That they will make the right choices. :)
This family also thinks my name is super funny. Portão de Maçã. Apple gate. We had a good laugh, but my comp still doesn´t believe my name, because he heard me say Torta de maçã (apple pie) and he was confused.
Janaúba may not be a big city, but it has a McRonalds. So there is a place to grab a burger. :) (It may not be McDonalds, but hey its close. :)
I´m looking forward to a really good week, i should finish O Livro de Mórmon this week and start again. It is so good read the BoM in two langauages it gives more understanding and insight. Hope ya´ll are reading too! if not, start.
Have a great week, because i will
Love you all
