Babysitting and Divisions

Querida Família

there has been so much that has happened this week I'll try to fit it all in. here we go

1st. Elder Holland is coming this weekend but thats not why i am writing on monday. 

So here is my week. 

Sunday - we were not able to bring anyone to church with us, but we had a miracle. A member from Venda Nova brought his girlfriend to church, Fabíola is her name. She was really excited and really liked churched. participated in everything and whatnot. 

Monday -- we did our normal office monday stuff. Then at night we went and visited Fabíola for the first time and when we invited her to be baptized on the 17th, she said yes. We also ran alot that day to get some visits done that were far away. Thank goodness for the word of wisdom. 

Tuesday - I got to go with President to Ribeirão das Neves to watch a Zone meeting. It was a first time experience. it was just me and President in the car, then after the meeting we had lunch. i learned quite a lot of things. It was pretty cool to have some one on one time with presidente.Then at night we went and visited Fabíola again, and while we were waiting for her boyfriend to get there she told us about how she liked the book of mormon and what she felt while reading it. she said it was like she was hearing a man´s voice reading it and she felt a cool feeling while reading it. Then she showed us the souveneirs she was making for her baptism. One of a kind

Wednesday - we did a division in Lagoa. I went with Elder Dunford! it was good to work with him again. Then at night, we talked with Icaro, who is moving out of BH, but it was good to say goodbye. then we visited Fabíola again, she is really elect. Then we took a 70 year old member to visit a less active family who live at the bottom of a big stair case. and it all worked out in the end

Thursday - we did 101 street contacts, we did a surprise division with some zone leaders and taught Fabíola about tithing....she wanted to know if the church had a public report of how the tithes are spent....but in the end she understood. 

Friday is where things got interesting. We were going to divide with another set of LZs, but president called us and said that we need to go to sete lagoas to go get a companionship of missionaries and bring them to the office. so we went and got on a bus to sete lagoas, then came back with the missionaries, and then we took them to work in our own area. We don´t know what happened in their area, but we do know that president was not happy, 

Saturday was not our Pday because we were dividing with the two missionaries in our area the whole day. going up and going down big hills the whole day. 

Sunday they were also with us. so pratically we were babysitting them until today when they will return to the field. It wasn't the best weekend, but its part of the calling, and rarely a calling is conviente. So we will have a short pday today, jsut enough to send email and rest a little, because today we have to do a small transfer. and do our regular monday stuff. but it
I'll be just fine and dandy. 

This is the big week. We have a conference planned with Elder Maynes of the 70 presidency, but we are still praying that we cant have one with Elder Holland. In anycase this week is going to be busy, i am not exactly sure when i will send email this next week, but you will get one. We have got a lot of work to do!
